As the nation’s leading provider of child care services, the YMCA provides a safe and wholesome environment that stimulates social development and learning. For working parents, child care is not an option, it is a necessity.

The YMCA of Great Syracuse provides high quality child care to over 900 children in the Greater Syracuse area. At all YMCA child care sites, youth are encouraged to build on their own interests through hands-on activities and project based learning experiences that have been designed to promote a healthy group dynamic and nurture innate curiosity. All youth also experience the positive impact of character development and the nurturing of the developmental assets in the YMCA of Greater Syracuse’s child care sites.
