Y Kids Inc.

Our motto is simple… Every kid deserves a Y.

Y Kids Inc. program is an inclusion program through the YMCA of Greater Syracuse. Children of all ages and abilities are able to participate in any YMCA program based on their interests and parents desires. Trained, compassionate and enthusiastic staff help our Y kids blossom in to the confident, unique individuals they are meant to be.

Y Kids Inc Support: Support staff may be arranged through the YMCA free of charge to *qualifying individuals with a current YMCA membership. Support staff may also be arranged for an hourly fee to individuals seeking additional hours of assistance as well as for individuals not qualifying for free support based on grant guidelines. If the family chooses to provide their own support in programs, the YMCA will add that support person to the child’s membership to allow them to accompany the child to the YMCA at any time.

*Note: Support may be provided free of charge to individuals with a developmental disability with qualifying documentation, who reside in Onondaga County and live at home with their families. These qualifications are specific to grant guidelines. Support hours are limited and given on a first come, first serve basis.

Y Kids Inc. is made possible through financial support from Transitional Living Services, the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and the YMCA of Greater Syracuse. We thank everyone for their confidence and support in our quest to meet our mission.
